Opening Up Our Home To New Residents

Economic Roundtable report “Locked Out” concludes that the pandemic-related unemployment will start a brutal cycle of homelessness. The uptick began as a trickle in 2020, but homelessness will triple this year and peak by 2023.

The Restore LA initiative launched with the expansion project of the transitional housing program for families, making an additional 42 rooms available for family units to stay together and rebuild their lives. This is the first of many efforts to work towards a more foreseeable and steady future for Los Angeles.

All residents of this program will have free access to our many resources here at the Dream Center: food, clothing, GED classes, volunteering opportunities, and a community of support. There are no pre-qualifications and all families are welcome to apply. We will do our best to accommodate as many families as we can, in the case we reach maximum capacity, applicants will be subject to a waiting list and will be notified as soon as there is an availability.

We are currently only accepting online applications. Please note that health and safety measures will be applied to all new intake.

Learn more about our residential programs and apply online.
