In a country where most people are living on less than $2 a day, this 7.0 earthquake is devastating. "Rescuers report using trucks as ambulances and doors as stretchers" (msnbc.com). Already heavily damaged from the hurricanes they experienced in 2008, Haiti needs our help.

We want to do whatever we can to help the people there. All donations are going to help in the relief effort.

We have a number of Foursquare brothers and sisters that are in Haiti amongst all that is happening. They were found and are safe but their church has suffered much damage and the circumstances they are in are far from over.

The Foursquare Church is poised to respond with relief supplies and financial resources. Pastor Guy and Soeurette Thomas, Foursquare national leaders in Haiti, and numerous other Foursquare congregants and ministers live and serve the seven churches and one orphanage of The Foursquare Church in Haiti. Missionary Charlie Finocchiaro is currently on his way to Haiti with our first delivery of relief resources. As contact is made with our leaders in Haiti and additional needs are identified, we will develop a long-term plan to minister to people, bring relief to communities, and rebuild our churches. In addition, Foursquare Missions Press is offering free tracts and Bible literature in Haiti’s language of Creole for all Foursquare church teams.

We are also partnering with Joyce Meyer Ministries 'Hand of Hope' who is working with an organization called "Love A Child". Love A Child is providing relief and aid which includes food that was shipped to Haiti by the partners of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Their medical clinic in Fond Parisien, the Jesus Healing Center, is also open to the injured.

Love A Child operates an orphanage in Haiti working to spread the word of God and show the love of Jesus by example, as they minister to the poorest of the poor in Haiti. Their outreach programs include 14 Love A Child schools, where they educate and feed over 5,000 children each day, and food distribution programs that feed thousands of Haitian families.
