Dream Center is making a difference

California is home to the largest population
of homeless veterans.

(HUD, 2018, Annual Report)

Almost 11,000 veterans are living on the streets of California, without a place to call home.

How does this happen?

Veterans are faced with re-acclimating into civilian lifestyle without direction.

Mental, emotional and physical issues from past service also make life difficult without the following:

  • Affordable housing & health care
  • Community
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Counseling
  • Education
  • Vocational training
All of these isolating factors can lead to substance abuse, depression, homelessness, and hopelessness.

Providing Hope

These men and women courageously fought for our home, where we can freely pursue our dreams.

They too should have this opportunity.

Our Veterans Program provides a home for the brave – a place of healing, community, and hope for the future.
With a community network, counseling and support, free housing and food, and access to educational and vocational resources, the program provides an opportunity for every veteran to work through core issues and achieve long-term growth and success.

the cost of changing a veteran’s life is only

a year

By supporting the Dream Center’s Veterans Program, you are helping heroes
find new purpose and hope for the future.
