You could volunteer in one of the following
areas:
Adopt
A Block -
Adopt A Block is the heartbeat of The Dream Center.
Every Saturday “armies of compassion”
are sent out to serve the physical and spiritual
needs in our neighborhood.
Bus
Ministry -
Two hours before every service, our buses (or soul-winning
vehicles) go to downtown L.A., our Adopt A Block
sites and Skid Row where thousands of people are
invited to our Thursday, Saturday and Sunday services.
Food
Truck -
This ministry distributes food and grocery products
to the poverty-stricken neighborhoods within the
surrounding areas of L.A. By meeting the physical
needs of these people we are then more able to meet
their spiritual needs, as well.
Skid
Row -
This ministry goes to the streets of Skid Row to
share hope and meet the needs of the hurting.
Under
The Bridge -
Every Tuesday through Friday this ministry meets
in the Food Chapel; They then go out and serve hot
meals to the homeless on the streets of Los Angeles.
Metro Kidz
-
This children evangelism ministry presents Sidewalk
Sunday School in the projects and gang-infested
neighborhoods of Los Angeles to reach the kids of
the surrounding areas and teach them of a God that
loves them and is bigger than their circumstance.
Hope For Homeless
Youth -
This ministry targets at-risk youth in the surrounding
L.A. area between the ages 18-24. There are several
different outreaches every week to reach the people
living on the streets and the homeless youth every
week.
