WHAT TO BRING

Please bring everything that you will need for showering and daily hygiene. The Dream Center will provide towels and wash cloths. We will also provide all of your bedding.

Work Clothes and Daily Clothes
Please bring a pair of closed toe shoes and clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty or ruined. Many work related tasks include cleaning and serving on the streets of L.A.

You will want to bring shorts (please make sure that they are modest length), jeans, sweatshirt or jacket (it may get cold at night), t-shirts (girls: please do not bring tank tops) and a bathing suit (you may possibly wash buses).

Spending Money
We have a Café that sells coffee and food as well as vending machines throughout the campus.

Bible, Pen & Notepad
You will be participating in some scheduled Bible studies as well as Church Services.

Donations
The residents here are blessed by any donation you would like to bring like personal health care items such as shampoo, razors, after shave, hair gel, lotions, toothpaste, feminine products, diapers, baby wipes, socks, underwear, and anything else you would like to donate. You can call prior to arrival to get a more updated list of needs.

Willing Heart
The sole purpose of this trip is to learn how and practice in giving of yourself and serving others. You may be asked to do things that are a little uncomfortable for you. Allow this trip to be a way to broaden your horizons of ministry, keeping your heart and attitude towards serving God and being available to find a need and fill it.
