Discipleship teaches people how to dream again for their lives. These homes are open to people who will commit to a year of life-rehabilitation and recovery getting sober, clean and free from the bondage that is holding them back....
Most of the families we serve in the Rampart area are headed by single moms. These moms are trying to care for kids and keep them safe from the violence and out of gangs, while struggling to meet their basic needs....
This block is made up of homeless men, women and children who live in shelters and on the streets of Skid Row. Most of these individuals and families have no resources for food, clothes or medical care. We go out to show them that we care, there is another choice and there is a chance for a better life...

With so few opportunities for those who live there, they have a saying: "If you are born here, you die here." To many people, it feels impossible to overcome the obstacles that keep them down...
