What is the Adopt-A-Block program?

Adopt-A-Block is a program designed to help the hurting people in our communities. Change is made because of the consistency we produce in their lives. Many of these people have had people say they care, only to never see them again. Had promises made to them only to have them be broken.

We want to help produce something in their lives that will ultimately show that there is a God who, despite circumstances and past choices, loves them with a love that is deep, real and lasting.

We want to work with these people to help them see there is hope. And now you can help too!

How can I Adopt a block??

It’s simple!

There are a few ways you can adopt a block.

1- Choose the block you want to adopt and adopt a block online through our website.

2-Call one of the members of our fundraising team who will work with you directly to make sure you adopt the block you would like to donate to and can answer all of your questions.

3-E-mail us with your contact information and the best time to get a hold of you and we will contact you with the information about how to adopt-a-block.

4-Visit us in the lobby at the merchandise table after services on Thursday or Sunday to talk to someone from our marketing team directly about adopting a block.

How much does it cost to Adopt-A-Block?

You can choose to do a one time, monthly, or year long sponsorship.

Each costs a different amount and each provides different things for different sites.

Can I adopt more than one block?

Absolutely! The more blocks you feel compelled to give to, the more we are able to reach out to these people and the more lives you are impacting. You can adopt as many blocks as God leads you to.

What does my donation provide?

Your donation provides necessities for these individuals' lives. Things such as groceries, diapers, hygiene necessities and clothes. Your donation also helps to provide formula, baby supplies, cribs, strollers and furniture, appliances, pet food, opportunities for kids to get an education and mentoring.

Really that is just the beginning though. Your donation provides us with the opportunity to continue to meet the needs for these people. It provides us the chance to show these people that there is HOPE. And though meeting basic needs is necessary, the long term effects of your giving will change these people’s lives and the outcome of their future.

Can I see the people I am helping or hear how they are?

Absolutely!

We want you to BE A PART of the Adopt-A-Block program, because YOU ARE!!

Once you sign up, your name will be put into our database. Every month you will receive a mailing from our Adopt a Block marketing team with a story and picture of someone from your block.

To help to remind you of your block, when you sign up, we will also send you a red wooden block created by the Dream Center so that you can place it somewhere and remember to pray for your block.

In addition, we have recently created an Adopt-A-Block community.
