On November 23, 2008 over 1500 turkeys were given to needy families in the Echo Park area.  Due to a rough economy we feel now is the time to do even more and we had the largest turnout ever.   

The line for the giveaway wrapped all the way around Angelus Temple to the CitiBank.  Many families said they don't have jobs and this was a huge blessing. Turkeys and all the fixings were given out to the families following an uplifting and inspirational message by Pastor Matthew Barnett. Everyone was so grateful that the Dream Center provided a means for them to have a good Thanksgiving dinner.
