On November 22, 2009, nearly 2,000 frozen turkeys will be distributed outside of Angelus Temple. Our Turkey Giveaway last year was a huge success, feeding numerous families in the inner cities of Los Angeles. Now, for the second consecutive year, this annual event will also take place at the New York Dream Center.

Poverty in Los Angeles is overwhelming, and many hard workers have been laid off of their jobs. The Dream Center understands that there are people who simply cannot afford to celebrate Thanksgiving with all of the trimmings. Now these individuals can be well fed during this holiday feast. While the grocery stores are increasing the prices of poultry, the Dream Center is giving them away for free to families in need.

You won’t want to miss this special event. It’ll be an unforgettable morning, which will begin with an encouraging message at Angelus Temple by Pastor Matthew Barnett. Lives will be touched and stomachs will be filled thanks to the Turkey Giveaway and your generous offerings.
