| 3,000 people stand hand in hand as TD Jakes preaches about the potter and the clay.
Nearly 3,000 people stood hand in hand in Angelus Temple last night, swaying as the power of the Spirit of God rushed through them. Bishop T.D. Jakes from The Potter's House in Texas preached a powerful message on the Potter and how no matter the different variables or how the Potter’s wheel spins, no matter the form of the clay, the constant is that the clay always remains in the hand of the Potter. He controls the spinning and the shaping of the clay.
T.D. Jakes said that it is in the process of spinning that we get the touch of God and it’s the Potter’s foot that controls the rhythm of the spinning. He also spoke on Jeremiah 18:4 that says “And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make.” Bishop Jakes said that, though we are still “it” God has made us into “another.” It was then that he spoke about how all of us are miracles.
He had everyone reach out and grab the hand of the person next to him or her. “Never say you haven’t touched a miracle,” he said, “Your touching one now. Grip that miracle.” All of Angelus Temple was filled with the melodic sound of people praying for each other. Then Bishop Jakes opened up the alter for those who wanted to be “made another.” The power of Christ so filled the hearts of the people that the alter was flooded with people ready to surrender their lives to Him. Droves of people came from the balconies and all corners of the sanctuary and filled not only the alter but the aisles as well.
