Dream Records was formed in 2007 from Dream Center Studios and its parent organization, the Dream Center, a catalyst for positive change through outreach and ministry in the inner-city of Los Angeles and now New York. Dream Records seeks to carry that same banner throughout the music industry.

2009 has marked the beginning of multiple releases for Dream Records. The first, which was released in May 2009, is Press Play's edgy pop album "Life is Beautiful". This record exemplifies the label's vision of creating positive, groundbreaking music.

Dream Records will also introduce this year, singer/songwriter Stephen Petree, noted writer/producer of Shiny Toy Guns (Universal) and former member of PC Quest (Geffen). Subsequent releases will include Memphis pop rock quartet I'm OK You're OK.
